Youth involvement has proven greatly impactful

Youth participation has significantly enhanced our outreach efforts, not only for those we serve but for the youth who participate.

After learning about Relentless Rescue it doesn’t take long for youth to get directly involved in service and advocacy efforts for the homeless. Youth look forward to volunteering every week by showing up to outreach locations, donating provision, providing direct assistance through serving meals, clothing distribution, prayer requests and encouraging others to participate.

Students who have participated in Relentless Rescue have said it has greatly changed their lives. Youth have said the experience shattered the stereotypes about poverty and homelessness. They emphasize how it’s given them a new attitude of gratitude. Students have seen the cycle of hopelessness broken before their eyes simply by the encouragement and compassion they offer through serving. Youth contribute their outreach experiences with teaching them empathy. They now share their stories to educate and inspire others to never give up.

Helping others has helped students build the confidence and motivation to succeed in school and in the home.

It has greatly impacted their lives for the better.
